Nestled in Long Island City, New York, TRIO is a contemporary 10-storey mixed-use building that offers both private and common amenities in a modern, chic setting. The aim is to provide residents with a variety of appropriable common spaces that they can enjoy, like a multifunctional media room and coworking space or a rooftop terrace complete with BBQ grills and various seating options. All 30 apartments boast engineered oak flooring contrasted with sleek white quartz kitchen countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

On the ground floor, the lobby’s wooden slat walls, punctuated with cityscape-inspired artwork and imagery, stand out from the black and white ceilings and accents. Colourful soft-seating options dot the reception area and offer a place for residents and visitors to bask in the light streaming through the grand lobby windows.

On the upper floor, a large common room and coworking space leads into the residents’ dedicated fitness area. The same warm wood is used here and seating options in earthy tones are washed in the soft recessed lighting from the ceiling. From here, users can step out onto the building’s rooftop deck and use it to lounge, socialize, or take in the views and entertain guests.

Aimed at a younger generation of tenants, the TRIO tower intermingles Long Island’s playful and artsy culture with elegant design and a one-stop-shop city living experience. With access to public transportation networks and a variety of retail and dining options all around it is home for those wanting to find retreat amid the effervescence of the city.
